The first half of the course will focus on the key concepts and benefits of SUDS use, such as amenity, ecology, water harvesting and green infrastructure. You will also gain a greater understanding of the the performance and key features of SUDS systems. The second half of the course will give you expert insight on the design of SUDS systems, from the estimation of greenfield runoff, requirements of the GDSDS to outline design concepts for swales, attenuation tanks and ponds and infiltration systems will be covered to enable attendees to undertake detailed design of these features.
