Graduate Civil Engineer

Due to our success in gaining a breadth of design work in the environmental and engineering sector we currently have a vacancy for a civil/structural engineer. JBA, an industry leader in hydraulic and environmental engineering, offer the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging engineering projects throughout Ireland. These include large scale flood risk management schemes, hydraulic network design and assessment, flood protection asset management, nature-based drainage solutions and SUDS design.

The Position:

JBA operate with a multi-disciplinary approach to project delivery. As a member of the engineering team with JBA, you will be working alongside a team of hydrologists/modellers/environmental scientists with a proven track record of delivering flood risk management projects at a local and national scale.  You will act as a key technical staff member within a project team with involvement in outline and detailed design of flood relief schemes, erosion and coastal protection, culvert design, river training works and drainage systems including sustainable urban drainage systems.

The role can be based within either our Dublin or Limerick offices. 

Qualifications and Experience:

A degree in civil and or structural engineering is essential, however previous professional experience within the flood management sector or the water infrastructure environment is not required.  JBA has a structured graduate training scheme and mentoring programme to ensure that graduates attain appropriate skills across our key project disciplines.
