JBA to deliver services locally to the Isle of Man

JBA Consulting is to open its 16th office during September.  We have been providing consultancy services to Government agencies on the Isle of Man for over five years and so it is very exciting to be able to expand and deliver services now through a local office and a new company JBA (IOM) Limited.

The Isle of Man company, Holmes Grace Consulting Engineers, are to cease trading in September due to the retirement of the remaining founding partner.  Holmes Grace Consulting Engineers is a multi-disciplinary firm of Consulting Engineers established in the Isle of Man in 1973.  The company's areas of expertise cover Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, Project Management and Safety Consultancy.

JBA has offered employment to Holmes Grace staff providing local employment opportunities, together with opportunity for continuity on existing projects and frameworks for clients such as the Department of Infrastructure (DoI) and Manx Utilities Authority (MUA) in particular in the areas of drainage infrastructure design and rehabilitation, sewage treatment works design and housing development.

We are committed to continuing the provision of high quality services locally to clients including the Department of Infrastructure, Manx Utilities and others, as Holmes Grace has done for many years.  Having a local presence will mean also that clients on the island can access JBA’s specialist expertise in coastal engineering, asset management, flood risk management and water resources.

The team will be led locally by John Sullivan formerly of Holmes Grace.

We are currently recruiting for new roles in the Isle of Man office, find out more here or contact John Sullivan on 0044 1624 695 100 in the Isle of Man or Gary Deakin on  0044 1925 570876 in the UK.
