Graduate/Assistant Engineer

Due to our success in gaining a breadth of design work in the environmental and engineering sector we currently have a vacancy for a graduate/assistant civil/structural engineer who wishes to work on a variety of challenging structural designs, flood risk management schemes, and drainage and environmental projects in our Limerick office. 

The Position:

The post is within an existing team of engineers and hydrologists/modellers/scientists with a proven track record of delivering Flood Risk Management projects at a local and national scale.   You will act in a technical support role within a project team. You will be involved in the technical execution of flood risk assessments, strategic flood risk assessments, outline and detailed design of flood relief schemes and inputs to other technical documents.  

Qualifications and Experience:

A degree in civil and or structural engineering is essential, however previous professional experience within the flood management sector or the water infrastructure environment is not required.  JBA has a structured graduate training scheme and mentoring programme to ensure that graduates attain appropriate skills across our key project disciplines.
