Junior Landscape Architect/Technician

The Position - permanent full-time

We are seeking a Junior Landscape Architect /Technician to join our growing team. Responsibilities

The successful candidate will, amongst other things, be responsible for:

·        

Providing support to the landscape team on a variety of projects at all stages.

·        

Producing and updating drawings / sections / layouts in AutoCAD.

·        

Assisting in the preparation of design statements and presentations.

·        

Under supervision, providing assistance with LVIA reports.

·        

Working with colleagues throughout JBA, as part of a wider team.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should have:

·        

A recognised/accredited degree in landscape architecture or a related design discipline.

·        

One - two year’s professional experience post-graduation – recent graduates may also be considered.

·        

Good proficiency in AutoCAD will be required for this position.

·        

Familiarity with illustrative drawing packages including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and/or Illustrator, and QGIS, would be advantageous.

·        

Ability to work in a team with good communication skills.

·        

Civil 3D experience would be an advantage but not essential.

·        

Understanding of BIM would be useful.

·        

A full Irish or UK driving licence, would be useful.
